UHTS

1

Design

30 years old Technology, number of major   component are obsolete.

New   generation of Hydraulic Test stands with the latest state-of-the-art features   and components. UHTS has also been qualified to the most rigorous military   requirement testings such as environmental, Electro Magnetic Interference,   Mobility, Reliability, Maintainability, etc.

2

Aircraft Application

Accepted in-service by USAF for their F-16   and some designated aircraft.

Accepted in-service by USAF for supporting   their F-16 and can be used to support any transport or fighter aircraft in   their inventory.

3

Hydraulic Purification

System (HPS)

Using normal Filter Elements.

UHTS comes with an AF qualified integral   built Hydraulic Purification System (HPS) that provides continuous cooling,   filtering to remove hydraulic fluid particulates, water,   chlorinated solvents, absorbed air & gases from aircraft hydraulic fluid as   well as test stand. This purification process eliminates the need of changing   hydraulic fluid for a long period of time. HPS works   in a very cost effective way to minimize aircraft hydraulic fluid usage,   minimize hazardous waste disposal needs, reduce deployment foot print and   sharply reduce aircraft hydraulic components maintenance and associated   costs. (See attached article from USAF, which is self-explanatory.)

Purification   Performance

1)       Contaminant removal: 55 gallons of hydraulic fluid in 5   hrs.

2)       Water:  From   1000 to less than 100 PPM

3)       Chlorinated solvents:    From 400 to less than 100 PPM

4)       Air & Gas: 100% dissolved air removal, 98% (by   volume) removal

5)       Particulate: Cleanliness level equal to or better than   NAS 1638 class 3.

4

Test Medium

Hydraulic   fluid, MIL-H-5606, MIL-H-83282

7

Hydraulic Reservoir

60 U.S. Gallon capacity

vented to atmosphere and fluid is subject   to ambient

90 U.S. Gallon capacity

Is completely sealed to atmosphere. This   feature prevents airborne particulate, moisture and air to enter hydraulic   fluid, maintaining purity of hydraulic fluid all the time.

8

Control Panel

Conventional Control and Analog Instrumentation

Combination of manual and automated   controls. Fully military qualified with System Diagnostic, Built-in Test   System and Human Machine Interface Touch Screen Operator Panel enabling ease   of Operator Operation, Troubleshooting and ease of Calibration.

9

Drive Unit

Diesel Engine, 210 HP, naturally aspirated,   non-EPA certified, obsolete

Diesel Engine, 300 HP, turbo-turbo charged,   EPA certified to TIER III, Multi Fuel.

10

Engine Diagnostic System

60 US   gallon

12

External Fill and Purification Ports

No

External Reservoir Fill and Discharge Ports enables the Operator   to fill the Hydraulic Reservoir from an outside source, or to remove clean   filtered hydraulic fluid from the Reservoir also External Purification Ports   allow purification of external fluid source.

13

Back Pressure Regulator

No

Back Pressure Regulator allows operation in both aircraft   (Closed Loop) or test Stand Reservoir (Open Loop) operation with pressurized   or non-pressurized aircraft reservoir systems.

14

Instrument Calibration/Verification

All Instruments require removal and   verified calibration by third party, these results in equipment downtime and   excessive cost.

UHTS is set-up with Instruments capability to be verified by an   inexpensive Instrument Verification Set (IVS) within 15 minutes minimizing Equipment   downtime and cost.

15

Fault Diagnostic System

No

If a fault exists before system operation or a fault occurs   during system operation, fault conditions will immediately report to HMI   message field and warning horn is activated. Any fault condition will be   permanently stored to retentive memory of HMI computer. Up to 200 fault   conditions can be stored in retentive memory

If a critical fault occurs during system operation, engine will   be automatically shut down in 10 seconds. Each fault condition has a   corresponding fault diagnostics page at HMI. Fault diagnostics page provides   detail fault information and recommend corrective actions.
