Quieter, cleaner, more efficient innovative Advanced Electric Gas Boosters in mining applications
Advanced Electric Gas Boosters are quieter, cleaner and more efficient during operation, therefore advanced Electric Gas Boosters have many applications for gas boosters in underground mining. Other applications for electric gas boosters at mines include nitrogen injection for mine fire suppression, eliminating the risk for explosion in underground mines. Liquid nitrogen injection, an engineering control developed to reduce heat stress and spontaneous combustion hazards in mines, is used for environmental cooling and combustion prevention in an underground mining site or being deployed in minerals exploration drilling using reverse circulation techniques and coal-bed methane, where drilling very deep holes, up to several miles deep.
Electric gas boosters are integral components in many mining applications, which include underground mining, gases such as nitrogen dioxide (NO2), hydrogen sulphide (H2S) methane (CH4) can be present; these gases can be highly concentrated, undetectable and toxic. Inhaling such gases can cause even death or burns or poisoning. Therefore, miners and mine rescue teams depend on safety equipment such as breathing apparatus that can supply both oxygen and breathing air.
Hydraulics International Inc. (HII) advanced electric gas boosters will provide quieter, cleaner, high-pressure, high-flow rates up to 14,500 psi – along with improved monitoring and controls for a variety of mining applications. HII advanced electric gas boosters also use less energy due to lower cooling requirement and offer flow rates 10 to 20 times higher.
O2/He GAS Charging Unit
The O2/He booster unit was designed to boost directly from high pressure bottles to an outlet pressure up to 3000 PSI for pressure testing or charging tanks. The unit ensures full fills even when the supply source is as low as 300 PSI. The unit intensifies the oxygen/helium source by means of an electric motor that transfers mechanical energy through a shaft to the speed reducer and crankshaft mechanism to generate the reciprocating action. This mechanism is directly connected to a double acting gas boosting configurations. The gas sections are cooled by independent intergral cooling fans.
Electric Driven Hydrogen Booster
Storing access solar energy as hydrogen power by using an electrolyser to split water into hydrogen and oxygen using electrical energy generated from Solar Power.
