LINKLESS AMMUNIION LOADING SYSTEMS (LALS)
A/E32K-7 (P/N 3141AS799-1) consisting of :
1) Ammunition Loader GFK-21/E32K-7 (P/N 3141AS798-1)
and
2) Ammunition Replenisher: GFK-20/E32K-7 (P/N 3141AS500-1)
*
LALS is the next generation and latest development in ground support equipment for storing,
transporting and loading 20mm rounds into the Navy aircraft gun system while downloading and
restoring empty cases and unfired rounds. The ammunition loader interfaces with the F- 14A, B and
D, F/A 18A, C, and D aircraft M61A1 gun system.
*
GFU-24A/E32K-7 (P/N: 3305AS1400-1) is a cross-platform,
service, mobile ammunition transfer system for loading and
unloading 20mm ammunition from the ALS, UALS, LALS II,
or LALS 3 Linkless Ammunition Loading Systems. Capable of
being crank or pneumatically with an air ratchet, the 7 can load
new 20mm ammunition into the LALS while simultaneously
downloading unexpected ammunition into the spent casings.
The unexpended ammunition is unloaded into a tray for returning to bulk ammunition storage containers while spent casings are dropped out of the system into bulk cans below the Unit. The removable frame assembly can be removed for deployments where the entire structure is not required and can be mounted on the aft of the USN/USMC LALS II with included arm sections. The GFU-24A/E32K-7 incorporates an auto-detection system that automatically stops the system is an empty space occurs during loading. The system can also be operated in forward and reverse direction when cycling the system and not loading.

Hydraulics International, Inc. (HII) is under Contract in the United States to build these new Units (P/N: 040489-100 & 040499-100) with more modern, reliable, maintainable and supportability for replacing all their existing old Units of different models. These new Units can be used to support military or civil helicopters based ashore or afloat including supporting intermediate activities at the flight line or in hangars, at air stations and air capable ships. These new Units are designed to troubleshoot and functionally check helicopter or any aircraft hydraulic systems. Besides having incorporated the latest state of the art innovations, these Units also come with a much higher capacity (flow rate & pressure). These Units come with NATO or National Stock Numbers and are fully provisioned for spare and replacement parts for more than 20 years. Although specifically designed and built for supporting all military helicopter including those built by other Countries, these Units can also support fixed wing military aircraft including narrow body aircraft such as Boeing B737, B757, AIRBUS A318, A319, A300, A310, A320, A321, C919, ARJ21, M700, ERJ145, SAAB340, ATR72, Superjet 100, BAE146, F28, Falcon Jets, KAI T-50 Golden Eagle etc or as long as the capacity of the hydraulic system is within the range of test stand flow and pressure.
These Units are designed and built for connecting to US Navy Standard Hydraulic Fluid Purifiers (P/N: 040505-100) to provide removal of hydraulic fluid particulates, water, chlorinated solvents, absorbed air & gases, which is common problem with aircraft.
