Hydraulics International, Inc. (HII) is under Contract in the United States to build these new Units (P/N: 040489-100 & 040499-100) with more modern, reliable, maintainable and supportability for replacing all their existing old Units of different models. These new Units can be used to support military or civil helicopters based ashore or afloat including supporting intermediate activities at the flight line or in hangars, at air stations and air capable ships. These new Units are designed to troubleshoot and functionally check helicopter or any aircraft hydraulic systems. Besides having incorporated the latest state of the art innovations, these Units also come with a much higher capacity (flow rate & pressure). These Units come with NATO or National Stock Numbers and are fully provisioned for spare and replacement parts for more than 20 years. Although specifically designed and built for supporting all military helicopter including those built by other Countries, these Units can also support fixed wing military aircraft including narrow body aircraft such as Boeing B737, B757, AIRBUS A318, A319, A300, A310, A320, A321, C919, ARJ21, M-700, An-26, An-30, An-124, Il-76, Il-476, An-70, MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-25, MiG-27, MiG-29, Su-17 (Su-22), Ka-28, Ka-32, Ka-50, Ka-52, Y-5, Y-6, Y-7, Y-8, Y-9, Y-10, Y-11, Y-12, Y-20, Z-5, Z-6. UHTS comes with an integral built Hydraulic Purification System (HPS) that provides continuous cooling, filtering moisture and to remove hydraulic fluid particulates, water, chlorinated solvents, absorbed air & gases removal from hydraulic fluid. Keeping hydraulic fluid clean and eliminates the need of changing hydraulic fluid for a long period of time. HPS work in a very cost-effective way to minimize hydraulic fluid usage, minimize hazardous waste disposal needs, reduce deployment foot print and sharply reduce hydraulic maintenance and associated costs.
Purification Performance
1) Contaminant removal: 55 gallon of hydraulic fluid in 5 hours.
2) Water: From 1000 to less than 200 PPM.
3) Chlorinated solvents: From 400 to less than 100 PPM.
4) Air & Gas: 100% dissolved air removal, 98% (by volume) removal.
5) Particulate: Cleanliness level equal to or better than NAS 1638 class 3.

LINKLESS AMMUNIION LOADING SYSTEMS (LALS)
P/N: 029999-3 (NSN: 1730-01-428-4275)
LALS is the next generation and latest development in ground support equipment for storing, transporting
and loading 20mm rounds into the Air Force aircraft gun system while downloading and restoring empty cases and
unfired rounds. The ammunition loader interfaces with the F-15, F-16 or F-22 aircraft M61A 1 gun system.
GFU-24A/E32K-7 (P/N: 3305AS1400-1) is a cross-platform, service, mobile ammunition transfer system for loading and unloading 20mm ammunition from the ALS, UALS, LALS II, or LALS 3 Linkless Ammunition Loading Systems. Capable of being crank or pneumatically with an air ratchet, the 7 can load new 20mm ammunition into the LALS while simultaneously downloading unexpected ammunition into the spent casings. The unexpended ammunition is unloaded into a tray for returning to bulk ammunition storage containers while spent casings are dropped out of the system into bulk cans below the Unit. The removable frame assembly can be removed for deployments where the entire structure is not required and can be mounted on the aft of the USN/USMC LALS II with included arm sections. The GFU-24A/E32K-7 incorporates an auto-detection system that automatically stops the system is an empty space occurs during loading. The system can also be operated in forward and reverse direction when cycling the system and not loading.
