Instrument Verification Set (IVS)
Instrument Verification Set (IVS) is a portable instrument verification and diagnostic measuring tool designed to verify Flow Rate, Pressure & Temperature of hydraulic systems and instruments. Hydraulic Quick Disconnects (i.e. -12, -16 & -24) from GSE are integral built for connecting to our IVS and -8 for can be customized using Adaptors. Although our IVS was built primarily to support our next generation ground support equipment like our UHTS, UTHTS & JEHA MKIV (Hydraulic Test Bench), it can be used to calibrate test carts or test benches or instrument, in which they are fitted with flowmeters or pressure transducers or temperature sensors.
These devices (flow-meters or pressure transducers or temperature sensors) do not have to be dismantled for sending over to approved test laboratory for calibration by using our IVS connected on the required equipment. Besides being assigned with NATO Part Number, our IVS is certified and traceable to NIST. Our IVS can be sent over to HII for re-calibration or preferably to in-country, Laboratory Accreditation Company.

Instrument Contamination System (ICS)
Due to the high contamination of F-16 aircraft, Hydraulics International, Inc. (HII) recently developed a new product for the USAF. The Instrument Contamination System / High Flow Manifold (ICS/HFM) is used for measuring hydraulic fluid particulate and water contamination including for flushing the hydraulic test stand hoses prior to connection to aircraft. This unit is qualified on the F-16 aircraft as well as other military aircraft and a NSN will be assigned to it within the next few weeks by USAF. Also this product is in progress of being listed as part of the mandatory GSE required for supporting both the F-16 and F-15 aircraft by Hill Air Force Base (AFB).
INSTRUMENT CONTAMINATION SYSTEM/ HOSE FLUSHING MANIFOLD (ICS/HFM)

The ICS/HFM is a self-contained, enclosed, portable system that provides inline particulate and moisture contamination measurements in hydraulic fluid, provides regulated pressure within a range of 0-5000 PSI, and also allows flushing of hydraulic hoses prior to connection to the aircraft. The ICS/HFM is powered up by 115VAC 50/60 Hz or on-board battery
electrical power. The ICS/HFM consists of an in-line hydraulic system with a pressure and flow throttling valve, two supply -12 and -16 quick disconnects and two return -12 and -16 quick disconnects. The hydraulic system allows the flow through the panel mounted Contamination Sensor (CS) which reads particulate contamination class of the fluid and Moisture Sensor
(MS) which reads moisture contamination in parts per million (PPM). Supply pressure in the hydraulic system is monitored by a 0-6000 PSI analog pressure gauge on the panel.
